Hitachi Energy, which has a deep history and strong presence in Sweden, is providing high-voltage direct current (HVDC) technology—manufactured in Sweden—to Pattern Energy for a large-scale transmission project bringing clean, renewable energy from New Mexico, to integrate with the grid in Arizona for ultimate delivery to the western states.
Arizona’s top export to Sweden was civilian aircraft, engine, and parts to a value of 19.7m USD. Arizona also exported 1.2m USD of ice cream and other edible ice.
