Saab opened an advanced aerostructure manufacturing facility in West Lafayette in 2021. Collaborating with the state of Indiana and Purdue University, Saab focuses on research and development in autonomy, artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing.
Indiana’s top export to Sweden was measured doses of medicaments consisting of mixed or unmixed products for therapeutic or prophylactic purposes to a value of 58.9m USD. Indiana also exported 3m USD of artificial joints, parts, and related accessories.
