In 1912, a young Swede by the name of Carl Eric Wickman started to transport fellow Swedes to and from the mines in northern Minnesota for a small fee. This was the modest beginning of the Greyhound Bus Corporation.
Minnesota’s top export to Sweden was vehicles for traveling on snow, golf carts, etc. to a value of 54.9m USD. Minnesota also exported 688k USD of memory and electronic integrated circuits.
