Peter Gunnarsson Rambo, a Swedish immigrant to New Sweden (modern-day Philadelphia), brought apple seeds with him, which grew into what are now called Rambo apples. Intriguingly, the character John Rambo, played by Sylvester Stallone, was named after these apples.
